the last few years, you have made significant contributions to the world of education. Excellence in education, as in any other field is a function of best practices and innovative practices that go beyond the current understanding.

Going beyond involves leadership, it involves an understanding of curricula and pedagogy and it involves and understanding existing systems and processes. The scope of the innovation could be an immediate issue, relevant perhaps to your school or situation. Or it could be a wider issue having larger or even global implication.

We invite you to share your innovation with fellow practitioners. The presentation should focus on the following.

An abstract of your submission will be shared amongst the delegates at the conference, who would grade the innovation. This peer grading will be used to identify the best innovations which will be recognised with a cash award and citation.

We at IIT, wish to honour your contributions and the contributions of your teachers in the forthcoming international conference on ‘Excellence in School Education’ scheduled for 26th – 28th October, 2010 at IIT Delhi by the way of an award for the same.

We shall be obliged, if you could provide us the information in the enclosed format for the committee to recommend the awards. The awards carry a cash prize and a citation. Selected entries shall be widely disseminated for enriching the state of the art.
