I am happy to learn that IIT, Delhi through its Department of Management Studies has taken the very timely initiative to organize an International Conference on Excellence in School Education.

Today school education the world over is in a state of flux due to pervasive invasion of learning space by TV, internet and the like. This has necessitated creating a variety of alternative learning-teaching situations in our school environments.

Excellence lies in creating such innovative learning spaces and teachers sensitive and skilled for the new paradigm for the education.
